I have been watching North American Brother Cui's show recently, and after watching it, I feel that Brother Cui has that Beijing spirit, very much like a buddy. Moreover, his way of speaking, his expressions, and his conversations are very down-to-earth. The key point is that Brother Cui graduated from Peking University and studied law. He speaks with a lot of philosophy. Especially when he comments on news from various countries and strange events in his videos, I find it all very relatable and positive, conveying all the information about this world to friends. He has millions of fans on various platforms in the country, and millions of people watch these videos every day.

The more I watch, the more I love it, especially because his experiences are very similar to mine. He went abroad a bit later than I did, but our experiences make me feel like we are brothers. One is in the United States and the other in the United Kingdom, and the hardships we've faced and the flavors we've tasted are so similar. Moreover, some people say we look quite alike. I am many years older than him. However, after talking to him twice, I felt a special closeness. It felt like we had met and known each other many years ago. This person really feels like, if we get along, he is indeed someone with whom a thousand cups of wine are too few. We share the same suffering, and our experiences are very similar.

In one episode, Brother Cui talked about importing Terracotta Warriors from China, and when a container of them arrived in the United States, they all shattered. As a result, his bad luck turned into good luck. It reminded me that I have also done some market stalls; Brother Cui has really done everything. In the UK, no matter what kind of expert you are, once you arrive here, people don't recognize relatives. If you want to survive here, you have to do everything, right? Although I am in music, I didn't even know what music was when I got here. I just wanted to earn some money to survive. That was my mindset when I first arrived here.

I am sharing this with everyone because I was inspired by Brother Cui. He also supports my video a lot and has given me plenty of advice and help. At that time, I was also working with my friends in the country to import some goods, sharing a container with others. I imported many silk shirts, with pointed collars, round collars, and stand-up collars, both long-sleeved and short-sleeved. At that time, Chinese silk was great. It was also cheap to sell, so we went to a small village in the south to get the silk shirts, and I set up a stall in London. Because there are many free markets here, I rented a stall and sold these silk shirts. At that time, I sold them for seven pounds each, while they might have cost one pound when imported from China. At first, sales were not great, so I got anxious. I was still in school at that time, so I called two classmates, a boy and a girl. The boy was from Albania, a brotherly socialist country. That guy was nice. I also called a girl from Bulgaria. These students were all here for school, and the guy wore the silk shirt and stood next to me looking quite spirited. Even standing there, it still wasn't selling, so I said, "Buddy, do a couple of moves." Then he acted like a model, and surprisingly, it sold. I was really happy; it wasn't a lot, but it was okay. The girl also helped me out, doing some moves, and it really worked; we sold quite a few. I said we couldn't treat them poorly, and we couldn't just give them a bowl of tofu pudding, sesame cakes, or braised meat. We couldn't treat them poorly, right? So I took them to a restaurant. They were quite loyal and didn't even ask me for money; they just came to hang out with me.

I got addicted to selling and it was going well. It was quite hard work. I was selling while thinking that once I made enough money, I would go back to China and treat them to a few meals. Like at the Moscow restaurant, the roast duck place, Huguosi snacks, and hot pot. I wanted to treat them well first. Then I would leave the rest of the money for my mom. But then, not long after, a big stall opened up next to me, all selling shirts. There was a model standing at a stall next to me, and I got anxious. To be honest, even now, I still have several hundred pieces in my warehouse that haven't sold.

Later, when Christmas came, I started selling Santa Clauses. When Christmas arrives, those kids love to buy these little toys. I went to a small village in Zhejiang where they made Santa Clauses, and I imported some. When you shake these Santas, they also move a bit and play music. A kid bought one for four pounds. As soon as he took it, I said, "If you shake it, it will play music." But when he shook it, it suddenly stopped making sound. The kid cried, and after crying, he turned around and came back to find me. I tapped it, and it still only sang half a song. Suddenly, the one on the table that hadn't been tapped started playing. The one that had been tapped didn't work, but the one that hadn't tapped finished the second half of the song. I told the kid to take both of them. I gave them both to him. The kid was really happy.

I haven't talked about these things before. Listening to Brother Cui's show really inspired me a lot. It brought back all the memories of the past. I hope to be like Brother Cui, speaking humorously and engagingly. But to be honest, he stutters a bit. I love chatting, love friends, and love sharing life with everyone. I just want to have some fun, and especially for our show, I hope you all like my program and enjoy chatting with me. Then I can bring some joy and fun to everyone. You also make me happy during my lonely times. Thank you all.
