M invited me to play Go tonight, and I casually agreed. In the evening, I arrived at this chess room hidden in a narrow alley. This chess room is very old, as if it belongs to a different era. I pushed the door open and walked in, hearing a voice say, "Are you looking for me? Come here." I looked over, and in less than a quarter of a second, before I could see clearly who called me, he had already walked into the room. I guessed he must be M.

This chess room isn't very busy; a few uncles are playing checkers, and on the table next to them sits an old radio playing, "You missed my birthday, rushed over, disappointed..." (Is the radio station not doing the Huang Liu program at night anymore and switched to playing nostalgic songs?) I felt like the people here were looking at me with curious eyes. Although as a pretty girl I'm used to it, it still felt a bit strange. I vaguely heard someone behind me say, "This big sister is beautiful and has a nice neck, all salty goods, probably has a southern wind window..." (People talk so amusingly.)

I walked into the room, and M was already sitting by the chessboard, silent, looking down at the board. I couldn't see his face clearly, but I guessed he was a student. We had nothing to say, so we started playing. While playing, an uncle brought in two bottles of soda: "Little brother, do you want two bottles of soda? You're lucky, there was no electricity all morning, it just came back in the afternoon. It's chilled, one costs an extra five cents..." The uncle rambled on, and M remained silent, handing him a five-cent bill. (Two bottles of soda for five cents, so cheap?)

"No bottle deposit, remember to bring back two bottles later. Really, small but clever, knowing to invite a big sister to play chess, and even treating her to soda, next time find a younger one..." (This uncle really talks too much; I just wanted to shut him up immediately.)

Although I said M might be AI, his chess skills were mediocre, making some three-star moves and big patterns, and soon I broke through his defenses, and of course, he lost. I originally wanted to play another game with him, but he seemed to have lost interest and remained silent. We sat in silence for a while, and the radio outside announced, "Now reporting the time, 11 PM, Swiss luxury watch Inag." It turned out to be so late; I have to work at 6:30 tomorrow morning, so I should leave. So, I said goodbye to M.

As I walked to the alley entrance, I heard M say behind me, "I'll walk you out," without turning my head. M continued speaking, and I only remember him asking if he could invite me to play chess again. As a pretty girl, I naturally had to maintain my dignity, so I didn't answer directly. We chatted casually and walked a few steps... Suddenly, I felt someone grab my hand. I immediately turned my head; the street was dim, with only a streetlight at the corner that was dimmer than a ghost light. Where was M? "Tap, tap... tap, tap," the sound of bamboo sticks on the stone street, "Southern fermented meat, crispy, southern fermented meat..." A blind man passed by with a bamboo stick, calling as he walked into the alley.

I looked back at the alley entrance, hearing the sound of cars on the road, and the yellow light of the streetlamp reflecting at the entrance. I felt the street behind me grow darker, as if a drop of thick ink fell on rice paper, the black slowly spreading, getting larger and larger. "Tap, tap, tap..." The sound grew fainter, as if I had entered a surreal realm of strange tales.

When I got home, I was still thinking, could M really be AI? It scared me all night, and I had no energy for work the next day. Wait a minute, did M forget to pay my bill? The watermarks on the chessboard weren't dry yet, and the sound of the pieces still echoed in my mind; it was really crazy! Next time, I need to find a "southern wind window" to check it out!

Another time, M invited me to play chess, and we went to a new-style chess room. This place was a bit different; they didn't use ordinary chessboards but transparent glass ones with LED lights. When playing, the lights would flash along with the pieces, it was like a nightclub for Go! I told M, this place is quite interesting, the pieces flashing around, it feels like watching a laser show. He said, "You won't believe it, when I first came here, I almost thought I was in a KTV!"

We started playing, and the lights were flashing so much that my eyes were dazzled. After a few moves, it felt like I was playing a video game. There was even a DJ on the other side mixing tracks, playing chess while listening to hot songs and dancing; I had never experienced anything so wild. M even said, "They have drinks here, do you want to try?" I replied, "Playing chess while drinking, that's really creative!"

So we drank while playing chess, and the pieces flashed like stars, I didn't even know if I was winning or losing. In the end, we both ended up dozing off, and when we woke up, the lights were still flashing. We laughed until our stomachs hurt; it was truly an unforgettable chess experience!
