In the field of image styling, when it comes to style, there are many definitions: romantic, classical, elegant, girlish, boyish, avant-garde, romantic... Then, there are some evaluation standards based on appearance and body shape, and those who meet the criteria can be categorized, followed by some dressing paradigms, and one can simply dress by imitation.

Although I encountered this theory nearly twenty years ago, I have always found it unreliable. Every person is a unique existence. While there are aesthetic principles in dressing that reflect beauty, how can something as personalized, fun, and creative as style be confined and have people fitted into it?

This is also why I want to be a different kind of image consultant. I am interested in every unique individual. If I can guide people to discover themselves and customize their style in dressing, what a wonderful and interesting thing that would be! Style is a multidimensional concept; it is not just an external expression but also a reflection of inner personality and thoughts.

Style is a very personal matter. It is like a mirror that reflects a person's character, cognition, experiences, preferences, values, and aesthetic orientation. Everyone's life background and growth environment are different, and these factors together shape our unique personality and taste. Therefore, the clothing, speech, behavior, and even ways of thinking we choose inevitably carry personal colors.

Firstly, personality is one of the important factors influencing personal style. People with an outgoing personality may be more inclined to choose bright, lively colors and relaxed styles, while those with a reserved personality may prefer understated, minimalist styles. Whether one's personality is extroverted or introverted determines how we interact with the outside world, which in turn influences the external expressions we choose.

Secondly, cognitive level and educational background also influence our aesthetics and style to some extent. Well-educated individuals may pay more attention to connotation and depth, and they may choose clothing and behaviors that reflect wisdom and cultivation. In contrast, those who focus more on surface effects may opt for more flamboyant and eye-catching styles.

Experience is also an undeniable factor. A person's experiences, especially significant life events, often leave a deep imprint on their words and actions. For example, those who have experienced war may cherish peace and tranquility more, and they may choose elements that bring inner calm.

Preferences and values are also important factors in determining personal style. Everyone has their unique preferences, which are often closely related to our values. For instance, a nature lover may choose lifestyles and styles that harmonize with nature, while someone who pursues efficiency and practicality may opt for simple, functional designs.

Finally, aesthetic orientation is an indispensable part of personal style. Aesthetic orientation includes not only preferences for colors, shapes, and lines but also preferences for broader fields such as art, culture, and fashion. A person's aesthetic orientation is often closely related to their life experiences, educational background, and personal values.

In summary, style is a personalized form of expression that reflects a person's inner world and external presentation. Whether in daily life or artistic creation, style is an important way for us to showcase ourselves and express our individuality. Through continuous self-exploration and practice, we can find the style that suits us best, making life more colorful.

The image selected is from the live performance by Celine Dion during the Olympics hosted in France, as I believe her personal style is very "Celine Dion." From her dressing, we can see the quality of her life—strong, persistent, and never giving up!

May everyone find their own style; I am progressing on this path!
