Talking hurts us

I said to the therapist, "Is there a way to actually enjoy conversation?"

"There is," he said, and he gave me a method.

I tried it three times.

Three times, it worked.

And while I think it will ultimately fail like all the other methods, the results were so interesting that I can't wait to try it again.

My father and grandfather have no issues. They love talking to people. They love it so much that they do the unimaginable and make it happen intentionally. Grandpa gets on a plane, looks at the person sitting next to him, and just talks.

This is absurd.

  • What happens if a person starts talking and doesn't stop?
  • How can I make them stop?
  • Or what if they think I'm boring?
  • I would rather they kill me than think I'm boring.
